How To Make Your Songs Downloadable

You have what you think is a killer track. Beat is nice, verses proper. You now want to promote your craft. You want to distribute your work by uploading it for downloads.

Now how are you going to make sure people do download your track? Read about it:

1. Make File Size Smaller
In Swaziland mobile data is a bit too expensive.

Downloading big files does cost a lot.
This will make people reluctant to download your track.
Rather provide two options: a compressed track (smaller file size) and another option with the original file size.

2. Highlight Attractive Facts
If you are unknown and you were lucky to feature a major artist, it will be effective to mention their name in the title. Or to mention your well known producer. People want a brand that's already known.

3. Use Images
If you do have great images of yourself, include them when posting links to your song. Even if you are an upcoming artists these attractive images will make people want to click the link.

4. Highlight Your Success
If possible do inform your potential fans of how (well) your track is doing. People will want to check out what you are all about if, say, 1 480 other people have downloaded your song.

5. Have a Team
Ask you friends to share your track on their profiles.

6. Use Reliable File Hosting Websites.
You file hosting website should have a memorable name. Such a URL will make people remember exactly where your song is. It should also have a share button for other people to be able to share your song.
